Village Up was created because our San Diego innovation ecosystem must be more inclusive for all. We have brought together different stakeholders, including founders, investors, nonprofits, higher education, and governments, to address issues and foster connections to uplift our region. This uncertainty, especially the "federal funding freeze" situation on grants and loans, will negatively affect nonprofits. We assembled some of our partners and supporters to discuss the current funding landscape and strategies to leverage our respective strengths to pursue funding sources. We are honored to be the facilitating organization, providing administrative support to keep the collective on track and develop a coalition statement.
