This week, the Village of Lisle was pleased to host an OpenGov Inc. Chicagoland Permit & Licensing User Group at Village Hall. The working group included several area communities and local government leaders who had the opportunity to collaborate and learn about new OpenGov Permitting & Licensing features, discover best practices, and discuss specific aspects of the local government Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.? ? Since 2021, the Village has partnered with OpenGov to expand its online services for residents and business customers. In 2022, Lisle launched its Services Portal offering convenient and easy access to apply for building permits, licenses, special event permits, block parties, parking permits, and more. Users are also able to use the portal to report community concerns, access commercial and residential building permit guides, find links to helpful documents, and process payments for various transactions. The Village of Lisle is seeking a Residential Plans Examiner and Building Inspector to join our team! The Residential Plans Examiner and Building Inspector is responsible for reviewing building plans and specifications for new and existing residential structures to ensure compliance with Village and Illinois State Building Codes. This position conducts a variety of inspections for the enforcement of all applicable Village codes and ordinances and provides superior customer service through positive interactions with the public and staff. This is FLSA non-exempt position with an excellent benefit package, including health and life insurance, IMRF pension, vacation time, paid holidays and sick days. The Police Records Clerk performs a wide variety of specialized clerical duties in support of the department including processing and maintaining documents, correspondence and coding reports, and providing information and assistance to other agencies and the public. The Records Clerk effectively communicates, maintains confidentiality, makes responsible decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures, and demonstrates the highest level of integrity. Recently, Community Service Officers Andy Nadeau (left) and Luis Escobar (right) dropped off the donations to the Lisle Township with staff and volunteers ready to receive them for the pantry.? ?
