What an amazing day! Jo Renfro visited Kids of Africa Today and read "Peg Gets Plucky" to our children, and it was a blast! Everyone, kids and staff alike, loved the story. Jo was a bit worried the kids might be shy during Q&A, but they were bursting with questions! They were so eager to learn more about the book and about Jo, and they even shared their own dreams and ideas for their own stories. It was truly an awesome event. Today, our kids in Cuchapa, Mexico, had an unforgettable musical experience with the talented pianist and musician Christian Lopez from Buenos Aires, Argentina! Christian led an interactive session where we explored musical notes, symbols, and rhythms. The children watched an engaging video, practiced exercises on the pentagram, and even had fun solving rhythm-based calculations with whole notes, half notes, crochets, and quavers! Their enthusiasm was contagious, and their love for music continues to grow. Moments like these remind us how powerful music is in inspiring young minds!
