"WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU" That statement of assurance, first spoken in 1942 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, represents both our history and our mission. It was our undertaking then, and it is still our promise today. Our name embodies what we provide. For those struggling with chemical dependency, mental or behavioral health concerns, or recovering from trauma, our dedicated staff of professionals provide hope. For youth, families, and adults, we provide integrated behavioral health treatment, both residential and outpatient; community-based services, case management, and mental health programs; community school; group homes, a community apartment program; and Work Based Learning. The Villa serves Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, and Wayne counties. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.

Work Based Learning News! Last Friday's Career Journey featured a visit from Jim Payne, and provided an in-depth look at his program (working in a medical lab) and the various career opportunities it offers. Students had the opportunity to examine bacteria slides, practice drawing blood, and analyze blood samples for indications of disease. Mr. Payne praised our students for their excellent behavior, engagement, and curiosity. He also extended an invitation to visit local labs! #villaofhopeschool #villaproud

THIS WEEK AT VILLA OF HOPE SCHOOL! Competition and camaraderie with the O'Connor Academy . . . though the scoreboard didn’t land in the Villa Wildcats' favor, the team never lost their spirit! After the game, the Wildcats and the O’Connor Academy team had lunch together. A great day for our students! #villaproud

A couple weeks ago, they were planning their Gala attire and realized purchasing new dresses for all 4 girls would be an extraordinarily heavy lift for their family. Then we got a text from Bella Friday night. If the Villa could provide a letter of referral, she and her sisters could check out the selection -- the very next day -- at Fairy Godmothers of Rochester, an organization that provides gently used prom or event dresses to those in need. The great news is that Fairy Godmothers was as excited as we are to have Bella speak, and were happy to provide gowns for the 3 oldest girls! (Mom and the youngest will get their wardrobe taken care of next.) Now, all three girls are Gala-ready! The girls' excitement over their beautiful "finds" was palpable! Can't wait to see them all next month! See you there!
