VIETRI hosted its second Core Week earlier this month. Core weeks are VIETRI's approach to getting everyone back together in the office at specific times throughout the year. The goals for core week are to devote time together to focus on professional development, networking, collaboration, problem solving, and brainstorming. The focus of this core week was communication training led by the Bell Leadership Institute, job shadowing, and collaborating to work on big issues. Additionally, we all worked together to prepare for VIETRI's bi-annual Warehouse Sale by gathering together throughout the week for food, fellowship, and fun.

Happy International Women's Day! Today, we recognize the incredible achievements and honor the incalculable contributions of women. As a female-founded, owned, and led company, we celebrate women every day. VIETRI was founded after an amazing trip to Italy taken by a mother and her two daughters. Today what began as a company of 3 women, has now grown to over 50! This week, VIETRI hosted our first "Core Week" bringing all employees back together in the office. We had remote, hybrid, and in-person teams together for a week of training, professional development, networking, collaboration, problem solving, and brainstorming. We celebrated VIETRI's mission of gathering together around the table with special meals, celebrations, and thoughtful conversations. The goal of VIETRI's Core Week model is to offer employees flexibility, foster in-person connection, and brainstorm opportunities to grow our business. We will host a total of four Core Weeks this year, and the leadership team is committed to making our time together meaningful, thoughtful, and purposeful.
