Honored to achieve Best in Class!?????? Vida Ca?a has been awarded the prestigious title of Best in Class in over-proof rum for our recent Single Barrel Finishing Series. This rum received a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a distinction reserved for achieving Gold-level scores unanimously from all judges. It then went on to grab the #1 spot in its category, or Best in Class. Thank you to the Tasting Alliance and the esteemed San Francisco World Spirits Competition, established in 2000 as the oldest and largest event of its kind, for this incredible recognition.

Congratulations to our partner nonprofit, Loggerhead Marinelife Center!

We partnered with Friends of Padre, Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, and Save Our Shores Junk Removal to host an Island Canal Clean Up. Together we collected over 100 bags of trash and various debris out of our waters and properly disposed of them! It’s a mission of ours to take care of the natural resources and the local sealife friends. Looking forward to more clean ups in the near future!

A recently emptied barrel from our Single Barrel Finishing Series has made its way to Sailfish Brewing Company, for a beer aging project! We are proud to add additional cycles of aging to all the barrels we receive and extend their life and purpose. Can't wait to taste this one!

What happens when you mix a gold medal and a gold medal? Coming in for our next Single Barrel Finishing Series is a fresh, gold medal winning bourbon barrel from Fierce Whiskers Distillery’s latest release! We’ll be pouring our gold medal winning 18 year Panama rum into this barrel and letting it finish age for the next 12-16 months. Congratulations Fierce Whiskers on your award from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition!

Proud to see our partner restaurants participate in oyster recycling and restoration on the Texas coast, a program founded by Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies. Our team had hands-on experience putting the oyster shells back in local waters to form new reefs and habitat for fish, crabs and other organisms.

Texas SandFest isn't just the largest sand sculpting competition in the country; it's also a nonprofit organization deeply committed to giving back to the community. With a strong focus on charitable initiatives, the festival supports numerous causes, benefiting both charities and people alike. We're thrilled to have been involved for a 3rd year, especially alongside our friends at Fierce Whiskers Distillery this year.

More than just rounds of golf! This inaugural Golf Classic benefitting Sea Turtle, Inc. was great day, and even better for a first class mission. We watched almost 100 players compete, and when they hit hole 6, we were ready with a cold rum cocktail and a quick tasting.
