Last weekend we had the opportunity to come together for a client project kickoff. Taking advantage of the time together to enjoy a little team building and strengthening relationships just made sense! Highlights included: ?? Beating the Roze Heist at Zero Hour Escape Rooms in under an hour ?? Learning to play Skull King (even though Tammy wouldn't commit to doing the pirate salutations) ?? Food, drinks and cheesecake at none other than the The Cheesecake Factory ?? Tory attempting to "zoom in" on a card to see it more clearly (THREE times) ?? Catching up with Ramesh Singh and family Being a fully remote company, these in-person times are all the more treasured. We're blessed to have a team that truly enjoys working (and playing!) with each other. How do you incorporate fun into your life? One of our company values at Victoria Fide Consulting is "Fun." Generally we talk about having fun enjoying our work, or having fun together as a team. However, having fun outside of work is also important. It helps one decompress from the stresses of work and recharges our proverbial batteries. One of my favorite things to do for fun is to play hockey. I love the camaraderie of my hockey buddies, and the cardio is also helpful. For several years I have been part of a hockey club called "Fat Boys." In the winter we skate together every Wednesday night. Occasionally we schedule a Saturday to meet on a local lake and play pond hockey. Last Saturday (February 22nd) we met for several hours of pond hockey and chili and beer.
