Yesterday, we celebrated Pastelito Day, a sweet tradition that unites our community. Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bovo and Pembroke Pines Mayor Angelo Castillo honored us with proclamations, recognizing the importance of this beloved tradition. Thank you to both mayors and everyone who made the day unforgettable. Pastelito Day is about more than pastelitos - it’s about the connections, culture, and memories that bring us together. ??

So thrilled to celebrate Vicky Bakery's Hialeah Proclamation for Pastelito Day, now officially recognized every year on October 9th! The family-owned business, run by the children (and their partners) of founders Antonio and Gelasia Cao, welcomed Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bovo Jr. and members of the City Council at their SE 8th St. location, where the proclamation was formally announced.
