“I’m not there to make friends.” This is what I told my (now) spouse about six years ago when he suggested that the coworking space I was joining could also be a social connection in my new habitat after moving from Seattle. But I was just joining for the internet (modern times hadn’t yet come to our country road). And then the early lockdown days of the pandemic hit, and the Tableau offices closed down, and Vibe Coworks became a lifeline.? There were a small number of us there daily; it was fun and so curious to share a workspace with the likes of an ex-detective-turned-private-investigator (who liked to print out stories about local crime and leave them at my desk), Leah Persinger the real estate agent (we kept a running commentary of everyone’s hand-washing regimens), Teresa Muehlenkamp the marketing consultant (who could explain the whys of our local grocery store ad campaigns), and Alanna Imbach, the founder and owner of the space (who is the most fun to trap in deep conversations about human behavior).?Over the years there have been more: Brittany Kelley took my headshots and actually created an experience (and a picture!) that felt like me.?Rachael S. created the logo for my business.? These are some of the first friendships I developed in my new hometown of Poulsbo WA.? There’s something special that they’ve done to build an environment that’s so welcoming, inclusive, and always connecting me in new ways my community. Vibe is celebrating its sixth year and I’m finally ready to say that I’m there to make friends. Happy birthday Vibe! #BornAtVibe

Over the past four years, we’ve proudly provided hundreds of hours of on-demand meeting and retreat space to local businesses, nonprofits, and government contractors at our Bremerton location, The Spot. Today, we’re excited to announce that this space will soon transition to the U.S. Navy, as they take over the lease for the entire 4-story building at 6th and Pacific. In doing so, they will also draw on our expertise in cutting-edge flexible workspace design. We’re incredibly proud of our role in this transition and look forward to continuing our support for local businesses, nonprofits and the U.S. Navy. By doing what we do best across the whole of the Kitsap Peninsula—fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth through flexible workspaces—we're committed to building a thriving ecosystem. Meeting space at The Spot will continue to be available through November 1, 2024. After that, we encourage anyone in need of high-quality, tech-enabled meeting rooms to book at our flagship location in Poulsbo. There, we offer a wide range of fully private spaces, accommodating anywhere from 2 to 55 people.
