Last week, our team participated in a Blind Simulation Presentation led by VIA: Visually Impaired Advancement (VIA). VIA provides comprehensive services to help anyone dealing with vision loss at any level, at any age, with whatever they want to accomplish. Their services include a low vision clinic, workforce development, vision rehabilitation and more. Throughout this presentation, we were encouraged to complete tasks without using sight to simulate what it might be like to experience vision loss. VIA also demonstrated how to use various tools that are utilized among the visually impaired community. Thank you to the entire VIA team for this informative session! #VIA #VisuallyImpairedAdvancement #visitbuffaloniagara #resources #InTheBUF #buffalony #buffalo
