At Viasomatic, we believe when we listen to the wisdom of our body, we heal our mind. That's why we work to help people evolve their relationship with their whole self. Stress is kinetic. It is designed to move us. When the stress cycle is not completed it can become locked in as bodily tension. Locked in stress can either keep our 'fight or flight' system too active, flooded with too much excitatory information, or it can shut down our 'rest and digest' system, leaving us with not enough activation for proper functioning. We guide people to recover their nervous system so they can reduce the impacts of stress, reduce the impacts of trauma, and improve their mental wellness. Our yoga therapists are knowledgeable in the neuroscience of stress and trauma, skilled in therapeutic movement practices, and supportive of your needs. The Viasomatic method uses yoga therapy (specifically yoga-based movements and breath patterns) to mimic defensive stress responses to complete the stress cycle and move your nervous system back into equilibrium. We offer Free Primer Programs, Chair & Mat Programs, Chair Accessible Programs, Live Group Programs, and Live One-on-One Programs leading to better mental wellness.
