Viasat is excited to share it was awarded a $33.6 million contract from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory under the Defense Experimentation Using Commercial Space Internet (DEUCSI) program to develop AESA phased array antenna systems for tactical aircraft that can deliver greater flexibility and reliability to meet mission requirements and support demands for increased reliance. Under this award, Viasat will deliver a low size, weight and power (SWAP) AESA solution for resilient multi-band, multi-orbit and multi-network communications, which is central to supporting the government’s need for hybrid network capabilities.
