It assesses the wind turbine's response to a sudden change in wind conditions, considering both aerodynamic and structural aspects. The simulation provides valuable insights into the system's behavior under extreme loads and helps engineers optimize its design for robustness and reliability. ??During operation, the blades are abruptly pitched slightly out of the wind, resulting in reduced aerodynamic thrust on the hub and forward motion of the nacelle. You can also observe the changing deformation of the flexible bodies.
