Loved this Isabelle Bousquette piece in the The Wall Street Journal about McDonald's use of AI and edge computing to optimize business operations and improve customer experience. There are so many interesting applications of data, AI and automation in a quick-service retail environment. The problem? Most restaurants don’t have a McDonald's-size technology budget. Viam is already in conversation with many QSRs about how we can solve simple, but pervasive, operational problems that prepare them for bolder implementations down the road.
