Vía provides service in five counties in Colorado. Via operates on a social enterprise business model and serves the region by providing transportation programs including the HOP, Access-a-Ride, and FlexRide under contract to local municipalities and the Regional Transportation District (RTD). Thank you to everyone who attended our Policy Roundtable on July 15! This engaging conversation about transportation, featuring Matt Frommer of the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP), Frank Bruno of Via Mobility Services, and Karl Guiler, Senior Policy Advisor with the City of Boulder, was an engaging discussion on policy, transportation updates, commuter safety, transportation funding, and transit availability. The Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections (BCTC) team also highlighted the extension of the Alternative Transportation State Tax Credit through HB24-1036 and hopes for future legislation. Today marks the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, a historic civil rights law that protects the rights of people with disabilities. In our own Boulder community, Via Mobility Services is a nonprofit that provides residents with transportation and mobility options that enable them to live a more self-sufficient and independent life.
