Exciting news from Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan! Today, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Childcare Business Initiative (CBI), a project that will make a real difference for families and entrepreneurs in our region. We're proud to have provided the land for this innovative facility, which will make available much-needed childcare services and empower local providers to launch successful businesses. This project was made possible through great partners at the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, the Manhattan Area Chamber Of Commerce and by a $2.35 million grant from the Kansas Children’s Cabinet Child Care Capacity Accelerator grant program. This initiative is a critical step in addressing the childcare shortage in Manhattan and supporting our community’s economic growth.
