We've covered the exciting football seasons for Army and Navy, but both academies also have historically great men's rugby programs, and they both have just completed successful campaigns in the Rugby East conference! This past weekend, Navy defeated BYU 43-28 by countering two early tries from the Cougars with 33 unanswered points. The Midshipmen finished in first place in Rugby East with a 6-1 record and went 10-1 overall! On November 9, Army wrapped up its season with a 41-17 win over Kutztown in which sophomore center Benji Kemp scored a season-high three tries! Army finished the year 6-1 in Rugby East and 8-1 overall. #GoArmy #RollGoats

The United States Military Academy at West Point Army football team has officially clinched a spot in the American Athletic Conference title game thanks to Tulane University's win over United States Naval Academy on Saturday. However, the quest for the College Football Playoff is far from over! The Black Knights take on the University of Notre Dame this Saturday at Yankee Stadium, and a win could vault No. 18 Army which is undefeated (9-0) into the Playoff conversation. It won't be easy, however. Notre Dame is 39-8-4 in the all-time series vs. Army, and the Irish have won the last 15 times these teams have met. On the other hand, these Knights are stouter than they've been in a long time with the nation's stingiest defense allowing only 10.33 points per game! ?? The Army offense is also rolling along with the top rushing offense in the nation at 335 yards per game. That's 72 more yards per game than the next best team! ?? Can the Knights conquer the Irish and put the country on notice, or will they suffer a similar fate as Navy, who lost to Notre Dame 51-14 at MetLife Stadium in late October? ??
