We are a community of Veterinarian Owned and Led, AAHA-accredited pet hospitals located in Northern California.
关于我们
VetnCare was founded in 2012 with a simple yet powerful vision, to create a community of veterinary hospitals that deliver next-level care, next-door. What started as a passion for helping pets has grown into a thriving community of 13 veterinary hospitals across Northern California. We believe that exceptional pet care starts with exceptional people. That’s why we invest in our teams, providing the professional mentorship, training, and resources they need to grow and thrive. Behind the scenes, our centralized support team—including operations, HR, finance, IT, and marketing —ensures that our hospitals run smoothly, allowing our clinical teams to focus on what they do best: provide exceptional veterinary care. When you join VetnCare - whether as a team member or a pet parent - you become part of a community that comes together with a shared purpose: to elevate veterinary care for pets and the people who care for them.

At VetnCare, we are committed to delivering next-level care, next-door—and we’re excited to expand our services at Presidio Way Veterinary Hospital through a partnership with Dr. Kim Tong, DVM, DACVS-SA, a board-certified veterinary surgeon. By working with a mobile surgical specialist, we can offer even more advanced procedures—including general surgery, surgical oncology, and orthopedic surgery—without requiring pet parents to seek outside referrals. This ensures our patients receive specialized care in a familiar environment, while allowing our primary veterinarians, Dr. Kaila Helmer and Dr. Justin Chatoian, to continue providing comprehensive medical and surgical care. Partnering with specialists like Dr. Tong allows us to elevate patient care while maintaining the continuity that pet parents value. We’re proud to offer this expanded service to our community and to strengthen the collaboration between general practice and specialty medicine. #PresidioWayVet #ElevatedCare #BoardCertifiedSurgeon #VeterinarySurgery #ContinuityOfCare #VeterinaryExcellence

?? Today is World Spay Day! ?? Spaying (and neutering) is one of the most important decisions pet parents can make for their pets' long-term health and well-being. Beyond preventing unwanted litters, spaying has significant medical and behavioral benefits, including: ? Healthier Pets – Spaying reduces the risk of certain cancers and infections, helping pets live longer, healthier lives. ? Happier Homes – Pets that are spayed often have fewer behavioral challenges, leading to a more peaceful home environment. ? Community Impact – By preventing overpopulation, spaying helps reduce the number of homeless pets in shelters. We believe in proactive, compassionate care that supports both pets and pet parents. If you have questions about spaying your pet, we’re here to help! ?? #WorldSpayDay #SpayAndNeuter #HealthyPets #VeterinaryCare #ElevatedCare

?? Pet Microchip Registry Alert ?? A major pet microchip company, "Save This Life", has abruptly shut down, stopping pet details from their database being shared with the universal microchip registry. This means pets, whose microchips are registered with "Save This Life", may no longer be searchable if they go missing. ?? What this means for veterinary teams & pet professionals: -> Pet parents may be unaware their pet’s microchip is now untraceable -> Hospitals should proactively check microchip registrations during visits using the AAHA lookup tool -> If unregistered, pet parents need to register with an active nationwide registry ?? Next steps: Encourage pet parents to verify their pet’s microchip status today. https://lnkd.in/gHNpsbVq We’re committed to keeping pets safe—let’s make sure no lost pet goes unreturned due to a registry shutdown. #elevatedcare #vetncare #microchips

Dr. Fay joins us from South Carolina where he gained vast experience in advanced dentistry, surgery, and masters level behavioral research. He attributes his passion for the animal healthcare industry to memorable years spent on his grandfather’s farm in Alabama. We are so exited to welcome Dr. Fay to the VetnCare community. ?? February is Veterinary Dental Awareness Month, and it's the perfect time to shine a spotlight on the importance of dental care for pets. Meet Faith! Faith came in for her annual check-up with Dr. Kaila Helmer at Presidio Way Veterinary Hospital, during her exam, they discovered a painful and broken tooth. Her pet parents were unaware of the issue, but after discussing the findings, they promptly scheduled a dental procedure to remove the broken tooth. Did you know that during a pet’s dental procedure with VetnCare, X-rays are taken of every tooth to assess for hidden disease? These X-rays allow a veterinarian to fully evaluate a pet's teeth and oral cavity, ensuring that they can provide the most complete care possible. Veterinary dental care is so much more than just a "cleaning" – it’s about ensuring a pet’s overall health and well-being. After her surgery Faith woke up tail wagging and giving kisses. We are so happy her dental procedure made her feel better! #elevatingcare #vetncare #veterinarydentalawareness
