IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT ?? In a strategic move, we're consolidating our existing military programs under the Veteran Saves banner, enhancing our focus and resources in this area. This shift represents our dedication to financially empower Veterans and transitioning service members, building upon the legacy of our Military Saves program, which we will be sunsetting as part of this transition. (This page will be staying active and you'll notice the transition of our logo, name, and content to Veteran Saves over the next couple of weeks. So continue to follow us here!!) In the meantime, the website and resources for Military Saves will remain available, with announcements of when content will fully transition to?VeteranSaves.org?later in the year. Our network of Military Saves partners can continue to expect monthly resources and quarterly resource toolkits to expand support for financial education for Veterans. VETERAN SAVES WEEK Veteran Saves serves all veterans, transitioning service members, caregivers, and their families. It offers practical tips and resources centered on four key pillars to the Veteran community: financial stress, housing, banking, and employment. In lieu of Military Saves Week, we are also thrilled to announce the inaugural Veteran Saves Week campaign, taking place November 12-15, 2024. Much like America Saves Week, the event will encourage service members and Veterans to pause and do a financial check-in while incorporating the Veteran Saves pillars. We encourage partners who’ve historically participated in Military Saves Week to join us for America Saves Week and utilize the Veteran-focused mini toolkit to reach the military community. America Saves Week takes place April 8-12, 2024, and you can sign up here. >>?americasavesweek.org During both America Saves Week and Veteran Saves Week, you can expect a week full of resources, engaging content, conversations and digital activities, each crafted to strengthen our mission of financial empowerment and confidence for the Veteran community. VETERAN SAVES PARTNERING OPPORTUNITIES In the lead-up to Veteran Saves Week, we will unveil our newest Founding Program Partners, joining?Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC)?and?AAFMAA. Our primary need to make the most impact on Veterans and their families is Founding Program Partners who offer financial support and collaborate with us in carrying out our robust programming through 2024. We offer various collaboration and engagement opportunities, including workshops, round tables, digital communications and resources, Veteran Saves Week sponsorship, and more including customized programming. For partnership inquiries, please reach out to Krystel Spell at?[email protected]. We're excited about working together and making a real difference in the lives of Veterans and their families this year and beyond. Thank you for being a key part of this important work. #VeteranSaves?#MilitarySaves?#Veterans?#veteranssupport
