In honor of Service Dog Awareness Month Honor Brewing Company selected Veterans Moving Forward as their Charity Tapline for the month of September. We will have a DJ, Canine Kissing Booth, Service Dog Demos, and a Chance to Win a Date with a Dog, and Woody's Racecar. 15% of every classic lager sale is donated to Veterans Moving Forward.

September is Suicide Prevention Month. Did you know that the veteran suicide rate is 1.5 times that of the general population? Together we need to work to break the stigma surrounding suicide in the military community by raising awareness and fostering real, open conversations around support and hope. Today, we honor and remember the individuals who lost their lives during the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001. We thank all of those that answered the call to duty at home and abroad on that day and beyond.

September is National Service Dog Awareness Month! Service Dogs are such an integral part of VMF mission's to support our Veteran community. Covered under Title II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Service dogs are individually trained to do work or perform tasks to mitigate a disability (physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental). "Jacob has been of great assistance. He is always close to me and notices when I am stressed out or angry. He checks on me during the day and places his head on my leg. My quality of life has increased by far, I cannot imagine my everyday without Jacob."
