Looking forward to an amazing day collaborating with Face The Fight grantees and coalition members at our first in-person meeting in San Antonio,TX! Today, I’m joined with my VSN team members, Elisa Borah (Research Director), Hannah (Program Director), Haley Wallace (Communication Specialist). I’m proud of our efforts in delivering Suicide Prevention Training courses to the Veteran Spouse Network community. It has been a healing experience for me as a suvioring partner of a veteran who died by suicide in 2016. It’s so crucial to equip loved ones to identify signs of distress and respond effectively. Spouses and family members are at the front line of prevention for our veterans. Our team is grateful to be surrounded by passionate leaders working to strengthen mental health practices and support within the military and veteran community. We’re excited to continue building partnerships with Face The Fight coalition members that make a difference to our community at the Veteran Spouse Network!
