Our work environment includes: - Relaxed atmosphere - Live training Veteran Medical Group Inc, (VMG) a corporation created to provide Veteran disability examinations to Veterans by Nurse Practitioners who are looking to explore non clinical opportunities in Military medicine. VMG is currently looking for Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants who will be trained to conduct a one-time non-treatment compensation and pension exams related to a Veteran's health Disability Claim. Full Job Description: - One on one live training on how to efficiently complete charting for DBQ’s - See the veteran in-person at designated practice locations provided or at your own approved location. - There is no ongoing care relationship with the Veteran and absolutely no prescribing. - Complete web portal documentation (DBQ) to determine the veterans diagnoses/disability. - The complete process should take approximately 30 minutes to one hour depending on how many claims the veteran has. - Appointments will be scheduled in advance and are flexible to fit your schedule. Required: - Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. - All onboarded VMG providers are required to attend the VMG VA Disability Examiner Trainer conference in Oceanside, California. Hotel accommodations, flights, and meals during the conference activities are included.
