Our first event was everything it was dreamed to be. #Veterans and #allies came together in a spirit of camaraderie, support, and focus on the future. There were so many great entrepreneurs in the same room, both well established and those starting the journey. Two questions were heard frequently throughout the night: "how can I help you?" and "how can I help VETS?" Our #Tribe is here to stay, and it will continue to grow. VETS’ First Event Was a Massive Success! Last night, we launched the Veteran Entrepreneur Tribe of Sacramento (VETS). The energy in the room was unreal. It felt like home. Veteran business owners, entrepreneurs, and allies came together not to sell but to serve, to build something bigger. This wasn’t just another event. It was a mission. We confirmed that this wasn't just a need but a movement. What Jonathan Foster, MBA, Keith Ward, Rich Foreman and I learned that: 1?? Veterans aren’t just looking for jobs, we’re creating them. 2?? Business success, like service, is built on the three C's; Community Collaboration and Camaraderie. 3?? When veterans come together, nothing is impossible. This is just the beginning. We are excited to get our first event on the books! We hope that veterans and supporters in the entrepreneurial community here in Greater Sacramento will join us for a night of networking and relationship building. Our goal is to create a strong community of veteran entrepreneurs, and to add value to them through connection to resources, like-minded individuals, and the knowledge and experience of those who have walked the road and found success. There are over 75,000 veterans in Sacramento County. Many of those veterans are still finding their paths in the civilian world, including entrepreneurship for some.
