In the spirit of International Women’s Day, we gathered with some exceptional DMV clinicians for a luncheon! Women lifting women is what it’s all about! ?? Verve Behavioral Health enjoys collaborating and connecting with local clinicians where we highlight each other’s strengths and create a path forward for our clients in their transition from their time at our PHP/IOP to lower level of care and vice versa. With a full heart and a satisfied soul, I bid farewell to my partnership with Verve. I joined Christian DeOliveira in June of 2022 to actualize his dream of opening a treatment center. We focused on addressing a growing need for Co-occurring SUD and Mental Health treatment in the DC Metro area. We hired an amazing team while I designed the clinical program foundations.??Beginning with our Clinical Director Sahar Ganjalikhani, each person brought their unique gifts, ideas and artistry to the work.??Together we enhanced the clinical program along with a community approach to treatment that became the bedrock of what has made Verve shine so brightly with excellence. We opened our doors in June of 2023.??The census and programming grew steadily.??We began with PHP and morning IOP. Because the need was so great we then added a Mental Health IOP.??This quickly led to an afternoon IOP. And last September the Evening Professionals Program became a reality!?? I’m so proud of the work of so many.??I’m so grateful to have shared this amazing opportunity to bring brilliant programing and treatment to our community. This was a dream awakened within me and then actualized and to be able to share this dream with you, the behavioral health community has brought me so much joy and a rich sense of personal and professional accomplishment. Now it’s time for me to take my leave of Verve. I’ll miss my amazing work family. They are dedicated, creative, talented and big-hearted therapists and team members. I look forward to the next adventures. There will be many. This was too much fun to stop now. Thank you all for your support. We had our first team building event and it was a great success! The most rewarding part of the experience was hearing our staff collectively name that the number one reason they get up every morning and come to our space to do this difficult work, is their love for one another and their excitement to see each other and to work with each other every day. We couldn't have asked for anything more joyous and rewarding than that! When the work in our PHP/IOP is around healing others and addressing recovery, the work environment and team must demonstrate cohesion and resilience for the clinicians to be effective in what they do.

Our amazing team at Verve Behavioral Health got together to celebrate our one year anniversary by having dinner and touring our beautiful city by way of the Potomac. We are so proud to be a resource for the community and look forward for what’s to come.
