Our team recently achieved another refrac milestone—successfully installing the first 4" x 5 ?" scab liner in South Texas using our MORPH? Hanger and DEFENDER? Packer. During stage 1 of a refrac, a major operator encountered a casing leak in the 5 1/2” casing ~1,200ft above our existing 4" x 5 ?" refrac liner top. With $1MM already invested in prep and liner installation, they turned to us for a fast, reliable solution to salvage the well. We deployed 1,300ft of 4" casing to tieback to the existing liner top and used our MORPH? Refrac Liner Hanger and compression set DEFENDER? Packer to isolate the leak without pumping any additional cement. This operation was completed in 16 hours and the operator was able to resume frac operations and successfully complete the well.?The operator was able to save nearly $1MM of operational costs already spent on this well and will benefit from $6MM+ incremental NPV over the life of this refrac. #refrac #SouthTexas #completions
