Ashlee joins the Vertical Vet team with over 25 years of experience in the animal health industry. For the past 10 years Ashlee has been with MWI in multiple roles. Most recently, she served as Technology and Solutions Strategist for the past four years. She brings deep knowledge of the veterinary technology solutions landscape, practice management and operations. She strives to create efficiency and profitability at a practice level while enabling clinics to provide an impressionable client experience. Prior to this, she spent eight years in the field as a Distribution Sales Manager. Before transitioning to this side of the industry, Ashlee dedicated nearly 14 years to private practice as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and Practice Manager with experience in companion animal, livestock and equine medicine, as well as emergency and critical care practices. Ashlee holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Marketing from the University of North Alabama. She resides on her farm in northwestern Alabama with her husband and daughter, near her two grown sons and daughter-in-law. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family on horseback, both trail riding and rodeoing. She currently has five horses, four dogs and a cat.

We are excited to announce Lindsay Moore, RVT as the new Director of Strategic Member Services at VerticalVet. Lindsay joined VerticalVet in November 2020 as the Practice Liaison. She has been working in the veterinary industry since 2008, starting her career as kennel and daycare staff while living in New Hampshire. After relocating to North Carolina, Lindsay expanded her expertise, gaining experience in GP, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Emergency Care, Large Animal, and Exotics (her favorite, the scalier the better). She earned her RVT certification in 2017 through Penn Foster. Lindsay is passionate about connecting with VerticalVet members to offer support and help ease their "to-do" lists. As a veterinary technician, she always saw advocating for her patients as one of her most important roles. In her current position at VerticalVet, she’s able to advocate for veterinary staff, empowering them to do the same for their patients. Lindsay is so thankful to work with an amazing team of veterinary professional who have the same passion for the veterinary industry as she does.?

We are excited to announce Katee Spence, MBA, CVPM as the new Vice President of Operations at VerticalVet. Katee Spence joined the VerticalVet team in November of 2021 creating our Virtual Practice Manager & Consulting program! In this role she enjoyed having the opportunity to assist VerticalVet member practice owners and managers in several areas of management. Katee earned her BS in Marketing and MBA from Coastal Carolina University and went on to earn her CVPM certification while in practice. She spent 8 years working in Veterinary management where she served as the Hospital Administrator of a private practice in South Carolina prior to joining the VerticalVet team. This practice role is what fueled her passion for VetMed, specifically supporting private practices in running organized, profitable practices that provide a positive culture and environment for vet med professionals. Katee is very excited to continue to support private practices in her new role with VerticalVet as well as working closely with our vendor partners to create and offer programs that are mutually beneficial for all parties.
