Our Managing Directors bring extensive executive experience in healthcare, ensuring successful exits for our clients. Job Title: Business Development Analyst Job Description: As a Business Development Analyst at VERTESS, you'll play a vital role in cultivating new sell-side and buy-side opportunities for the firm while working on business valuations for prospective clients. This is a unique chance to learn from a seasoned team of M&A advisors and gain hands-on experience in business development, valuations, and acquisition processes. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential targets aligned with Managing Directors' client criteria. Actively engage with healthcare owners and CEOs through outreach, sequencing, and phone calls to drive deal flow. Collaborate with our team to create industry analysis reports for various healthcare verticals, attracting clients to the firm. Participate in business valuation analysis with VERTESS Director of Finance. Work closely with Managing Directors to enhance deal flow and execute sell-side agreements. Manage the firm's CRM (HubSpot) and other software tools to ensure detailed sales activity reporting. Qualifications and Characteristics: Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, economics, or a related field. 1+ years of professional experience in sales or business development within the financial services industry, preferably in investment banking. Fast learner with a strong interest in M&A, capital markets, investment banking, or private equity. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Experience with CRM and Digital Automation tools is a plus.
