Exciting news for Vero in California! The California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) has recommended awarding Vero its proposed $4.4 million Arcata Bay Grant for a nearly?$6.3 million?project that will bring new fiber optic infrastructure to Indianola,?Samoa,?Fairhaven, and?Manila, providing these currently underserved/unserved communities with critical access to multi-gigabit broadband services. Vero Fiber will cover the remaining funds needed to complete the project. The final approval of the grant funding is anticipated at the?September 26th?CPUC meeting. Vero Networks was awarded a $1,236,866 grant from the Southern Colorado Economic Development District (SCEDD) via the Colorado Broadband Office (CBO) to set up broadband internet in unserved and underserved locations in Lake County. https://lnkd.in/eazk5siV
