Last week, Utah made history with its first air taxi demonstration flights, showcasing the future of transportation. In collaboration with BETA TECHNOLOGIES, 47G, Utah Department of Transportation, and Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity Utah hosted a series of successful flights and open houses across six cities, highlighting the potential of advanced air mobility (AAM). From reducing commute times and improving emergency response to connecting rural and urban communities and enhancing air quality, these demonstrations underscore the transformative role AAM will play in Utah’s transportation future. The Vernal Youth City Councill had an unforgettable experience at the Utah League of Cities and Towns' Local Officials Day! Meeting Senator Winterton and Representative Chew was a highlight, and the tours of both the Capitol Building and Matheson Courthouse were fascinating and fun.
