Thanks to the on-going support of our volunteers, presenters and Chapter Board, our local ATD Chapter remains vital and growing. Our Mission: To foster a community of Vermont leaders and learning professionals in order to discover, advance and share the resources that inspire organizational learning and enhance human talent development. My time with Vermont Chapter Association for Talent Development (Vermont ATD), has been a big part of my professional networking for years. I encourage all our members to share their networking experience with each other through our forum here. Networking is a big part of ATD membership. It's been almost nine months since I intentionally stepped out of corporate life with IBM Consulting to consider a next career chapter. One of the most invigorating aspects of being outside the day-to-day of corporate demand is the networking I've been doing with L&D professionals and thought leaders globally. Today, I was happy to connect directly with Colin J. Hahn, Ph.D., CPTD , whom I've been following closely on LinkedIn and sharing thoughts with on posts for the last several months. Having an ability to deepen my own thinking and share my intellectual curiosity with fellow professionals like Colin is slowly helping steer me toward my next chapter. For that, I'm immensely grateful.
