*Verizon is shaping the future of education and technology* On November 19, it was inspiring to see the future of Verizon’s cutting-edge technology showcased at Rutgers University. It was a game-changing evening! Huge shoutout to all the brilliant students who participated in the first round of judging for the Smart Campus Competition - you are truly shaping the future. We had the honor of witnessing 80 brilliant students, forming 15 teams, pitch groundbreaking ideas that could transform campus life. The diverse innovative and cutting-edge concepts leveraged Verizon’s technology and ranged from smart classrooms to innovative tech solutions for campus safety and parking, to enhanced connectivity in public spaces and more! The Verizon coaches judged the concepts and we selected the top 11 winning teams to advance and elevate their concepts to the next level. We can't wait to see what you'll achieve in the next round! Special thanks to the Verizon and Rutgers teams for your invaluable contributions to the success of this event and all the Smart Campus Competition events this year. Together through our strong partnership, we designed and built a Competition model that provided a platform for students to showcase their incredible creativity and innovation. When I say I work this is what I mean. Yesterday I had the honor in joining #hesperus at their 3rd annual forum. I met many wonderful people, birth multiple fantastic ideas, but most importantly I saw and I set free visions.
