Today is #WorldWhaleDay - a day to celebrate whales and raise awareness about risks they face. Veritas Shipmanagement Ltd. is extremely proud to be a participant in the Protecting Blue Whales and Blue Skies Program and to report that achieved the program's Gold Award for the 2024 Vessel Speed Reduction Season. By voluntarily reducing speeds to 10 knots during whale migration season in hot spots for endangered whales off the California coast, this program helps reduce risk to whales, underwater noise, and helps protect coastal air quality.
