I'm starting to sound like a man with a new girlfriend. Hey did I tell you how amazing she is? Well, now that the Verge move is done, I have been redeploying some Linux appliances that come as an OVA file. OK, quick look up on how to convert them to qcow2 for KVM. Verge.io VergeOS is like 'nah, just gimme the file, I'll do it for you'. Okey dokey, 30 seconds later, appliance deployed. Simple things done right. Love it.

Customer care from 34k’ in the air…Anyone who’s ever worked with me knows that customer care is a North Star for me. I fly Delta airlines a lot. Twice now in the past few months they haven’t delivered the food they offered pre-flight. Get that, it’s an airline for heavens sake… Anyone who’s ever run a real company knows stuff happens. What’s amazing is how quickly Delta knows it and fixes it. Before I landed (and after they substituted a great sandwich instead) I got this email from them WHILE IN THE AIR… Hello Yan, I know the in-flight meal selection you expected may not have been available onboard your Flight 2933, from Detroit. We pride ourselves on having meals offered for all customers onboard. Due to catering issues, we were unable to provide that for you in this instance. I’m sorry for any disappointment this may have caused. We Appreciate Your Business We have deposited 2500 bonus miles into your account. This is not intended to put a value on your experience but is part of our apology for the inconvenience. Please allow three business days for the mileage to be posted.
