This week we opened our newest office in Washington, D.C., reinforcing our commitment to supporting policies, innovations and solutions to environmental challenges for industries, municipalities and other customers. The space, located in the Market Square development, will help staff build and maintain relationships with federal, tribal, state and local government officials, trade associations and other key stakeholders to ensure our purpose is aligned with federal and state policies. Having a presence in D.C. will also enhance our capacity to develop and execute strategies to advance the company’s policy priorities, monitor and analyze relevant legislative and regulatory developments, and represent our interests before public officials and industry associations.

Today is #GlobalRecyclingDay! When you first hear ‘recycling’, what comes to mind? Maybe you picture residential bins lined up outside for pick up, or maybe you think of commercial products made from recycled materials like bottles or fabric. At Veolia, we envision recycling on a larger scale. Part of our goal across water, waste and energy is to develop solutions that promote a circular economy, keeping resources in use for longer. Our cross industry expertise uniquely positions us to develop solutions that unlock the energy potential of organic and, in some cases, inorganic wastes. These examples are just a few ways we’re doing that. To learn more about our recycling solutions, visit veolianorthamerica.com
