She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where her research focused on machine learning and injury biomechanics. Breana began her career at Intel, working with the Olympic Technology Group and Incubation & Disruptive Innovation teams to develop cutting-edge sports performance and healthcare products. She then transitioned to New Balance Innovation, managing innovation projects across basketball, American football, baseball, and tennis. Beyond sports, Breana’s experience spans automotive, cellular mechanics, and aerospace research, giving her a unique perspective on innovation. Fun Fact: She has co-authored eight white papers, including serving as the primary author on a book chapter in Concussions in Athletics: From Brain to Behavior.
