关于我们
Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC) is a local non-profit organization that has worked to increase homeownership and economic stability to the underserved communities of Ventura and Santa Barbara since 2001, and most recently Los Angeles and Kern Counties, with the mission “To strengthen and sustain vibrant communities by empowering individuals and families to build wealth through education and homeownership with a primary focus on serving low- to moderate-income clients.” VCCDC is a one-stop center committed to high quality standards in the delivery of its services, as a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency, an adopter of the National Industry Standards for its Homeownership Education and Counseling Services, a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), an approved broker with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). As a result of our commitment, VCCDC has closed an impressive number of mortgage loans, helped families improve their credit scores and their standard of living, made measurable impacts on neighborhood revitalization by rehabilitating distressed housing and making the refurbished inventory available to families in need, and contributed to improved economic conditions throughout the markets it serves. We are excited about our continuing growth and expanding ability to help Ventura County families find a new way home.

Did you know VCCDC is one of only three Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) in Ventura County? CDFIs are lenders with a mission to provide fair, responsible financing to rural, urban, native and other communities that mainstream finance doesn’t traditionally reach. This week we had the opportunity to connect with community partners and meet new friends at the Opportunity Finance Network 2024 OFN Conference! The annual conference is the largest gathering of CDFIs where we had the opportunity to learn, collaborate and celebrate the work CDFIs do to expand economic opportunity. Love this shot of our Executive Director, Bertha G. and Anabel Santamaria, Citi Community Relations Manager! #OFN40
