These are the 5 suppliers renewed most through Vendr in August 2024: Slack LinkedIn Zoom Zendesk Salesforce What’s really interesting is how much faster renewals are happening—down to 39 days from 45 days earlier this year. And in that same window, ACVs dropped from $29K to $24K. Businesses are locking in key tools quicker and negotiating better deals.     One of the top concerns for today’s C-Suite leaders? Sales cycles dragging on and on…and on ?? Long sales cycles are one of the top reasons teams will miss their goals this year, according to a newsletter from Carilu Dietrich, former Atlassian CMO. As she says, “The diving conversion rates, increasing complexity, duration of sales, and cost of acquisition make us more conservative, but CEOs are still going to ask us to accelerate growth while being efficient.” Now, let's see how net new buying cycles have changed in the last five years: 2019 median - 25 days 2020 median - 35 days 2021 median - 42 days? 2022 median - 44 days? 2023 median - 44 days? Since 2019, SaaS buying cycles have increased 76%. In other words, sellers spend 76% more time closing deals and buyers wait 76% longer to get the software they need to do their jobs.
