Now I understand what all of the hype is about! Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to showcase Veloci Running and our upcoming flagship shoe launch at The Running Event, the premier industry event annually held in Austin, Texas. We had an amazing time sharing the unique comfort that Veloci shoes offer with store owners and other industry leaders, along with discussing my journey founding Veloci as a college track athlete and the unsolved pains that sparked those first steps! A special thank you to Austin Escamilla for representing Veloci's essence so well at the event, leaning into everything the event offered, and having a blast doing it. I had the privilege of presenting Veloci Running at our Demo Day for Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship’s Summer Venture Studio accelerator. It was a fantastic experience showcasing the results of three months of hard work, and it was a pleasure to hear the pitches from the 7 other incredible teams I worked alongside this summer! I'm so grateful for the consistent mentorship and support from the Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship throughout the summer and beyond. It's been a thrilling 10-month journey building Veloci Running. One full of learning and focused work. I'm so excited for how Veloci shoes will benefit runners and to get them onto their feet in January! ????

Shoes matter to running, and running matters to people. Seven months ago I was searching endlessly for a running shoe to alleviate the pains I was facing. I realized this shoe didn’t exist but that it should, and the impact on runners would be enormous. This journey has been full of fast learning and hard work, driven by a mission to empower the running community to more fully enjoy their runs. I set out to create shoes that are better for runners, and I'm proud to share that preorders are now available at Velocirunning.com! Veloci Running has partnered with fantastic run specialty stores in four states so far that are committed to having their experts be some of the first to put Veloci shoes on the feet of runners and comfort-seekers in their communities. I'm deeply grateful for the incredible support I have received from mentors, friends, and the running community. Grateful to have had the opportunity to represent Veloci Running this past weekend at the Stu Clark New Venture Championships in Winnipeg, Canada! Presenting Veloci to the panel of judges was a fantastic experience, and it was great learning from and meeting so many incredible undergraduate and graduate founders. Thank you to the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship for hosting such a wonderful event, the judges for their willingness to provide productive feedback, and Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship for their continued support throughout my journey growing Veloci.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Veloci Running, a running footwear company dedicated to creating more comfortable footwear options that allow runners to fully enjoy the run. Veloci Running was born to resolve the current ultimatum runners currently face of having to choose between foot or lower leg pain by creating a first-of-its-kind running footwear option offering a combination of a wide toe box and a high heel drop. Veloci Running is gearing up to compete in the first round of the Napier Rice Launch Challenge hosted by Rice University's Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship this Thursday, March 21st! We have also been accepted and will be competing at the Stu Clark New Venture Competition, an international startup competition hosted by the University of Manitoba's Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship in April! With these competitions, we hope to showcase Veloci Running's role in resolving these ongoing pains that the running community is experiencing.?
