Our mission is to galvanise the next generation of company founders, giving them the tools to visualise new frontiers, and the support necessary to realise their vision. To build a better future, we need to act like an arrow, with purpose, speed and impactful accuracy. At Vellos we instil an entrepreneurial purpose through training programmes, we help founders aggressively pursue their goals through our venture partners, and we support the formation of impactful life-changing companies. Vellos was founded after Prof Tony Kouzarides, a leading researcher at the University of Cambridge, Director of the Milner Therapeutics Institute (home to an early-stage bio incubator, AI and Functional Genomics research groups and a 14-pharma company strong research consortium), and founder of Abcam plc, Chroma Therapeutics and STORM Therapeutics, joined forces with Steph Avraamides, who's experiences span start-up pre-acceleration, acceleration, investment and advisory. Together, Vellos is driven to unlock the potential of innovation eco-system, globally.
