That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) new Affordable Housing Decarbonization Technical Assistance Program is now accepting applications! VEIC will be providing expert support to help property owners access funding, develop scopes of work, and recommend short- and long-term building electrification paths to eligible projects all at no cost. This program is a key part of the Commonwealth’s goal to improve public health, address housing affordability, and accelerate Massachusetts’ clean energy transition. With deep gratitude, we announce a change in our board leadership at VEIC. Ellen Zuckerman has effectively guided the organization as Board Chair since January 2023, and she stepped down at the end of December. Under Ellen's leadership, we achieved significant milestones, including the adoption of our current strategic plan, continued organizational growth, and the launch of our VEIC Culture Statement.
