UK must cut meat and dairy consumption, says Climate Change?Committee (CCC). But: Public awareness is a problem ?? The CCC warns that “people’s awareness of the emissions impact of eating meat and dairy […] is limited.” Farmers need to be supported ?? The transition must include “supporting farmers to diversify their income streams,” the CCC stresses. The government seems reluctant to follow the CCC's guidance ?? Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters he doesn't want to "tell people how they should run their lives" That isn't good enough. Rather than bury its head in the sand, the government must bring “measures to encourage people to switch to alternatives to meat more quickly," the CCC has said. As a minimum, the government should stop funding meat and dairy?marketing and invest more in plant-based solutions. Do you think the government will listen to any of the CCC's messages? I've seen a few people share these spam InMail messages... and today was my lucky day! Is it some kind of strategy? A double bluff? A logic so illogical that it starts to make sense. Are they playing 4D Chess to make us download their Salary Guides? ?? Or is it sheer incompetence? ?? How many of these have you received?
