Thank you for sharing this wonderful story?Kristen M Mueller!
I take the burden of day-to-day operations from Advisors who have better things to do with their time.
Tomorrow, March 8th is International Women's Day 2025. Q: Who is a woman who has inspired your career? A: Sharon Calhoun Flock is the incredible woman who gave me my first opportunity in the financial services industry 23 years ago. At the time, I had no experience or knowledge of the field, but her mentorship, guidance, and unwavering belief in me sparked my passion for it. She is not only incredibly smart and strong but also has a contagious sense of humor that makes every challenge feel conquerable. Under her leadership, Vector Wealth Management has grown from the small, five-person office in 2002 to a powerhouse firm with over a billion in AUM and a thriving team across multiple departments. Her vision and dedication have not only transformed the company but have also shaped countless careers, including mine. Whenever I face a difficult situation or a challenge in my career, I often find myself asking, “What would Sharon do?” And with that mindset, I put my big girl pants on and move forward with determination to get the outcome I want. Sharon, thank you for being such a remarkable mentor and role model. Your strength, wisdom, and leadership continue to inspire me, and I’m forever grateful for your influence in my life and career. You are truly one of a kind! Thank you Sharon! You are truly an inspiration! #IWD25

Vector's Jason Ranallo, CFA talks about the fluid nature of tariffs and their potential implications for U.S. economic growth.
?? Tariffs & the Super Bowl: What Do They Have in Common? You might wonder—do tariffs or the Super Bowl cause inflation? In the short term, yes. Both can create localized economic shifts: tariffs drive up prices on goods, while the Super Bowl pushes up hotel rates, ride-share costs, and restaurant bills. But here’s the key: Neither tariffs nor the Super Bowl create new money—they just redistribute it. ?? Super Bowl fans spend big on tickets, travel, and food, shifting dollars that might otherwise go to a new car or vacation. ?? Tariffs move spending from importers to domestic producers, altering supply chains and local pricing. For investors, tariffs create short-term volatility but don’t change long-term market fundamentals. Diversification remains an important tool for navigating uncertainty. On any given day, the odds of the S&P 500 ending in the green are around 53 percent. Nearly the same odds as the flip of a coin. On the surface, participating in a daily venture where half the time you lose may seem counterintuitive. And yet.. https://lnkd.in/gyjx6MPD

???? Why do markets move? It’s not just about today’s data—it’s about what investors expect tomorrow. Nvidia’s stock swings, the Federal Reserve’s rate decisions, and even TikTok-fueled tourism all have one thing in common: expectations shape economic reality. When new information enters the system, markets adjust—sometimes gradually, sometimes in dramatic waves. Those who remain steady amid uncertainty, adjusting without overreacting, we believe, are the ones who often come out ahead in the long run. ??
