Completing this 2248m intersect #HDD with 563m of elevation change between entry and exit in the remote mountains of New South Wales was undoubtedly one of the most challenging HDD's ever completed. Today we celebrate the remarkable contributions that Senior Electrical Engineer Greg Perreault has made to the Vector Magnetics team and congratulate him on his retirement after 38 productive years. Greg is employee number 2, joining the team back in 1986! ? As is typical here, Greg has worn many hats (in many remote locations) over the years. His innovative electrical designs enabled WellSpot to emerge as the dominant relief well guidance system, with Greg doing much of the early R&D work on the job site in locations like Syria, Bangladesh, and the Gulf of Mexico. That experience helped him make crucial contributions to products like the Rotating Magnet Ranging System, the Magnetic Guidance Tool, and the #ParaTrack #HDD Guidance System. ? Meticulous and organized, with an extraordinary attention to detail, Greg helped set the foundation for excellence that drives us today. ? Congratulations Greg on your retirement and thank you for your decades of dedication!

Superior HDD putting the #ParaTrack Gyro to work in Australia.
Superior HDD have been busy out at work with our new Prime PD150 maxi rig. Earlier in the year we were contacted by Diona to complete 4 HDD drill shots varying from DN150 up to DN560. The project was a great success and showed us what this new rig can do. Next up the PD150 completed a Seymour Whyte project. This project included the installation of various pipe configurations from 250mm up to 6x140mm and 2x63mm, side by side under the M4 highway. Using a Paratrack Gyro steering tool, in challenging cobble conditions and the congested location of the job, Superior HDD were able to get the job completed achieving all targets. Great job by the team at Superior HDD.
