Natalia Navarro at Laurel School created an entrepreneurship?workshop for middle school students (grades 5-8). The kids will attend different workshops for marketing, public speaking, finance, and more before competing in a pitch contest for prizes. Every year on November 19th, the US celebrates National Entrepreneur Day. It is a day dedicated to recognizing and honoring the contributions of entrepreneurs who have played a vital role in shaping the economy and society. On this day, we celebrate their innovation, perseverance, and the positive impact they make in their communities.

Do you know a K-12 student entrepreneur? Encourage them to apply to Young Entrepreneur Institute at University School's Winter 2024 Fellowship. They will have the opportunity to be paired with an adult entrepreneur and work with them over the course of 8 weeks to prepare a business plan and pitch the YEI team fro funding!
