Workshop Update 10/17/24: ? The October vCIO-U Workshop, scheduled to be held in Tampa, FL has been rescheduled to November 19-21 due to Hurricane Milton.?The decision to reschedule was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, and also to allow people in the Tampa area time to recover - we sincerely wish our friends and colleagues a speedy recovery from the recent storms. ? I wholeheartedly concur with Chris Ryne's observations. We had an incredible group of technology professionals who generated phenomenal conversations & healthy debate. I look forward to our vCIO coaching & peer group calls and working with these fine MSPs to begin implementing their Workshop takeaways. GREAT diversity in perspectives as attendee job titles included vCIO, VP / Director of Service, Director of Client Services, and Marketing / Major Account Manager.?All shared that their time was well-spent, their expectations were exceeded, and that value was absolutely delivered! What did the group highlight as their major takeaways??Establishing vCIO role clarity, go-to-market & client engagement strategy, the QBR as “where you do what you do” and the “R” standing for Relationship, financial & budget understanding, identifying business goals, and delivering business outcomes.?We even went outside of the curriculum to demonstrate how the cohort could continue to work together to solve some common issues that most MSPs face with projects!?? Together we learned, shared, debated, collaborated, socialized, cruised Tampa Bay, established individual action plans, and even celebrated a wedding engagement during the week!??We knew vCIO-U would be engaging, but WOW, that’s next level! A huge thank you to the 11 progressive MSPs that are dedicated to up-skilling their people and practice, to ConnectWise for the use of their HQ training facility and being such gracious hosts, to @jayryerse, @jennaminer, @scottshearouse, @natemaederer, @mattrosendale, @christianlopez …and others within the ConnectWise community, and to Empathmsp’s @alexfarling for your attendance, input, and support. ? What’s next for this incredible cohort? Coaching calls and executing on those action plans! Don’t feel bad if you missed out – class will be back in session soon.
