The heart of VB Homes is our team. At the beginning of the year owner Chris Ettel shared a vision to inspire team camaraderie and unity. Each month, a team member is given the chance to organize a team building event of their choosing. Safe to say we've been having fun at work! So far we've: 1. Played pickleball and Topgolf 2. Been treated to an authentic Hawaiian Luau (Complete with Ukulele lessons!!) 3. Enjoyed one another's company and hospitality at a pool party 4. Shared laughs and several meals at some of our favorite VB restaurants And we're not done yet! We're excited to look back on the year and remember all of the memories we've made as a team!

Vacation Rental Facility Manager & Building Project Expeditor Facility Manager We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, care, and operational efficiency of our vacation rental homes. This role requires a versatile individual with excellent customer service capability who can transition between proactive maintenance, reactive issue resolution, and active involvement in home remodels and construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Manages all property care for Stay Va Beach vacation rental homes & guests. Implement seasonal maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance programs for vacation rental properties to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Ordering and stocking frequently used supplies and storing accordingly. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, scheduling and resolving issues efficiently. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs. Act as the first point of contact for urgent issues, providing fast and clear solutions. Communicate effectively with guests project start to finish. The Project Expeditor facilitates the smooth completion of construction projects by ensuring an adequate and timely flow of materials, equipment, jobsite organization and cleanliness. Responsibilities Arrange the movement of material between locations Ensure job site quality control and cleanliness Coordinate pickup and delivery of materials Assist Project Managers and Project Associates with onsite construction tasks including but not limited to punch out for new homes and remodel projects. Coordinate scheduling site cleanup with Trade Partner Organize and maintain VB Homes storage garage Install VB Homes, no trespassing and variance signs as needed at job sites Maintain job site security including VB Homes tools and equipment Ensure accurate accounting of time spent at each project documented by VB Homes daily timesheet. Qualifications: Strong understanding of building systems, construction processes, and maintenance best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations. Well organized with multi-tasking abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to details ensuring that all projects meet quality standards. Effective at solving problems in a manner that balances client needs, current schedules and awareness of financial impact. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Willingness to provide troubleshooting, scheduling, and some maintenance services on weekends for vacation rentals (peak season end of May – early September). Ability to handle physical labor.
