    With BFCM just around the corner, it's a perfect time to reflect on how all the planning, hard work, and collaboration throughout the year truly pay off during these busy seasons. This week is the culmination of so many shared efforts, challenges met, and goals achieved. We're especially thankful for the trust and collaboration we've developed with so many of you - partners, friends, and colleagues who make this journey both successful and fulfilling. For all of us at VO, it's also a good reminder to pause and appreciate what each of us has built. Whether it's the business you've grown, the connections you've made, or the targets you've reached, take a moment to look back on your own milestones and the people who have supported you along the way. This Black Friday and Cyber Monday, let's not only focus on the quantitative sales and campaigns of the day but also use it as a moment to measure how far we've come qualitatively since last year - and celebrate that growth. Wishing everyone a fantastic Thanksgiving week ahead - here's to a strong finish to 2024 and the exciting new chapters that are still to come!

    We encourage our Barrel Holdings agencies to send out a monthly newsletter. This Vaulted Oak example is very simple yet effective... The newsletter goes to a small but continually growing list of clients, agency/tech partners, collaborators, and others we're friendly with. You might have received a version of this from Barrel or BX Studio called "Friends & Advisors". Vaulted Oak's email is a bit longer than the others, but the structure is straightforward: - Vaulted Oak Happenings: a few bullets on some of the team's activities including work we've launched for clients - Barrel Holdings Highlights: shout out to other agencies in the portfolio and the work they're doing for their respective clients - Industry Collaborations/News: a chance to shed light on different partners in our ecosystem and a section to shout out folks we've had productive convos with or those who've sent us referrals (listing names is a really powerful tactic – we all love being recognized!) It doesn't take too long to put these together, but they're a good way to stay top of mind with those most likely to refer us work. We've seen 30-40% open rate on these emails. And every now and then, we'll get someone responding with a new opportunity, which makes the whole effort worthwhile. == ??     To cap off our case study series, we’re thrilled to spotlight our work with Visionist, a thriving company in the optical industry. Our collaboration aimed to elevate both user experience and B2B retail operations on their platform, focusing on seamless customer journeys and efficient ordering processes. 1. Build-A-Pair Customization Tool: To support first-time buyers, we developed a 4-step Build-A-Pair feature that provides a curated customization experience without overwhelming the user. This streamlined approach allows customers to personalize their orders, leading them smoothly through each choice while enhancing overall engagement. 2. B2B Quick Shop Feature: For Visionist's B2B customers, we implemented a Quick Shop feature that simplifies bulk purchasing for optical retailers. Integrated on the Product Listing Page (PLP), it enables businesses to swiftly browse different colorways, make selections in bulk, and accelerate checkout—boosting efficiency for high-volume retail environments. Our partnership allowed us to push the envelope on delivering features that balance personalization with practicality.     As we near the end of our case study posts, we’re excited to share our collaboration with Viva Raw, a brand bringing fresh, raw pet food to pet owners everywhere. Our team worked closely with Viva Raw to enhance their subscription and account features, creating a more personalized and manageable experience for users! Here’s what we implemented: 1) Subscription Quiz for Tailored Recommendations To streamline the customer experience, we optimized Viva Raw’s quiz for a quicker, more intuitive product recommendation process. Customers now have an easy way to select the right kits and quantities based on their pets’ needs. 2) Account Management Tools We also introduced an account management feature that lets subscribers control their orders with ease. Users can reschedule shipments, update billing information, and add or edit pet profiles to receive the best recommendations - all in one streamlined dashboard. This collaboration has not only improved the user experience but has also driven greater engagement with Viva Raw’s subscription service.     A couple of weeks ago, we highlighted our partnership with The Woobles, showcasing how we revamped their website’s online experience through various improvements and additions. This week, we’re excited to share another success story, this time with Sabai, a brand committed to setting a new standard for sustainable and aesthetic furniture! Partnering with Sabai, we focused on optimizing their website to create a seamless customer experience. Here are three key features we implemented: 1) Conversion-Optimized Blog Sabai’s blog, The Green House, serves as a platform to communicate their dedication to earth-friendly furniture. By marketing their story and integrating their products into engaging narratives, we emphasized Sabai’s core values while enhancing the discoverability of their blog content. 2) Dynamic Product Gallery (PDP) Sabai’s furniture, made from recycled materials, is available in a wide array of colours and fabrics. However, the original PDP was underperforming in conversions. We revitalized it by incorporating a dynamic image gallery that updates according to user selections. Additionally, we introduced a size and fit guide with an AR Tool to help customer envision the furniture in their own spaces. 3) Create Your Own Swatch Books Recognizing that swatch selection plays a critical role in conversion, we developed a personalized swatch selection experience, enabling customers to choose their own samples while minimizing waste.
