Stubborn on the vision. Flexible on the details. Clear on our commitments to one another. Some of our designers, product visionaries, engineers, supplier leaders, partnership executives, and customer advisors spent the last few days immersed in our customers’ world. At a previous company, we’d famously leave an empty chair in the room representing "the customer." This week at Varis, we got up out of our chairs. We spoke with dozens of real customers to get super clinical about how we support store teams and power finance and procurement leaders to drive cost savings. Then, we went screen by screen, feature by feature to make sure everything we're building is in service of that north star. We challenge each other. This isn't easy work, but there's never a doubt we're in it together. Last fall I said, "re-founding reignites passion." No slowing down there. #retail #procurement #startup
