It was great working with Joshua Cyr and Michael Zaritheny on this video! We got some great frames that tell an even better story. Shot on a set of modded Contax Zeiss!
In August 2022, Joelle and I welcomed into the world our first child, Nora, and immediately we felt a huge sense of responsibility to care and prepare this little girl for life. One of the first things we did was open and fund a Connecticut Higher Education Trust 529 College Savings account or simply, CHET. As the first year and half passed and each milestone came and went, we reflected on our decision to open that CHET account and felt it would be neat to pass along that message to other expecting, new, or experienced parents. That’s what sparked the idea for this spec ad which focuses on one of many simple “Moments” throughout life, where often times parents aren’t fully present; preoccupied with so many other thoughts. I pitched this idea to Garrett Samodel and Mike Zaritheny, and both were immediately on board. Along with their creative input and talent we created a piece of work that I would love to direct/produce as a campaign. Shoutout to the talent: my lovely wife, actress and voiceover artist, Joelle Cyr and wonderful daughter, Nora!
