Once again, we just tracked down the PCE vapor entry pathway in just a few hours of discrete sampling and on-site analysis. Years of traditional (e.g., randomly-timed canister/sorbent samples, reports, etc.) approaches had been implemented before we arrived, but answers to key questions remained unresolved. There was no need to wait for lab results, as we analyzed these within minutes of collection. We quickly determined the vapor entry pathway was within a wall separating two adjacent suites. We also collected subslab samples and analyzed these right away. We are now monitoring to determine spatial variability and temporal dynamics along with building-specific attenuation factors.
